>>Start-Up Sponsors<<
The Southern California/Southern Nevada Caravan's successful "Special Start-Up Sponsor" program
concluded on September 1st. Caravan Captain, Hib Halverson, told the eNews, "We're especially appreciative
of the Special Start-Up Sponsors' involvement. Without their financial help, the SCSN Organizing Team would not
have been able to get up and running as quickly as it did and it would have been impossible for us to have made
as much progress in planning the Caravan as we have made to date."
The Special Start-Up Sponsors are:
Software Liaison
Brent and Marilyn Hicks
Gorilla Travel, LLC
Jerry and Judie Cochran
Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School
Jumbo Distributing
The SCSN Organizing Team is grateful for their support.
>>Track Days at Spring Mountain<<
Ever driven your Vette to the limit...the way the people who built the car meant it to be driven? Well,
that's one thing you're NOT going to be doing on the 2009 Caravan but there's an easy, safe and inexpensive way
to do that: Corvette Track Days at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch.
Spring Mountain is acknowledged by performance driving professionals to be one of the most technical,
challenging and exhilarating tracks to drive. A Corvette Track Day weekend gives the novice driver and
experienced road racer alike a chance to try out their Vette's power and handling in an unrestricted manner on
one of the top driving school tracks in the Southwestern U.S.
Come join some of your fellow Caravanners along with other members of the Corvette Community for two days of
performance driving instruction, practice and timed runs. There are 4 run groups that range from beginners,
who've never been on a track, to expert racers. There is a class room session each morning and Saturday's track
activities begins with a lead-follow session to show you the track both of which are conducted by the
instructors of the Spring Mountain School of Advanced Driving.
Corvette Track Day weekends are also times to socialize with other Corvetters who share your interest in
performance driving. The weekends include a "Happy Hour" at the end of each day along with the
customary Saturday night barbecue dinner, prize giveaways and a free, Spring Mountain Shirt.
Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch is in Pahrump, Nevada 45 minutes west of Las Vegas. The next three
Corvette Track Day weekends are 2/9-10/08, 4/5-6/08 and 11/22-23/08. For more information visit

Going on the Caravan? Don't go braless.
95% of new cars with less than 1,000 miles have paint blemishes from normal driving. Imagine what two years of
street driving followed by a cross-country trip will do to YOUR paint. The solution? A "Clear Bra".
It functions like a traditional auto bra but is far more durable. It will NOT scratch your Corvette's finish
like most "strap-on" auto bras. This 3M Paint and Headlight Protection lasts for the life of your
Vette.
Professional installations by the 3M factory-trained Installer in California most experienced with
Corvettes: Envisage Design Labs. Call (310) 613-4691 or email Envisage at:
