>>>TOP STORY<<<
This will be the final edition of the Southern California/Southern Nevada Caravan 09 eNews.
We've had a long run, emailing our first issue on 12 September 2006. We hope the eNews has been
useful and entertaining.
>>SCSN Organziing Team Summary Financial Statement<<

it's books, we'd release a financial statement.

$36.40 After-event t-shirt sales
Expenses were $32,728.53

$7401.16 Route Book project
$2873.16 Caravan Section T-shirts
$1742.87 2-way radio equipment for Organizing Team members
$1607.63 Hotel cost for Organizing Team members' travel but NOT on the Caravan itself.
$808.62 Gasoline used in Caravan-related travel by car but NOT on the Caravan itself.
$7639.22 Other expense items, each less than $800.
Left over was $3161.87 which was donated to the National Corvette Museum on 1/5/10.
>>LEFT OVER ROUTE BOOKS AND SHIRTS<<
Our after-Caravan sale of SoCal/SoNev T-shirts and Route Books as an NCM fund-raiser was a total
bust. We sold very few shirts and no Route Books. The remaining shirts will be given to either clubs
who supported the event or to the Vietnam Veterans of America. The remaining Route Books will be
disposed of in an ecologically responsible manner.
>>CAPTAIN'S FINAL WORDS<<
First, I'd like to thank my Organizing Team: Caravan Commanders: Sherry Maples, Brent Hicks, Tony
Megowan, Duane Stidham and Ron Cohen Caravan Lieutenants: Jim Estoch, Fred Smith, Steve Nichols, Sandy
Halverson, Inge Stallings, Elora Stidham and Jim Van Dorn. You guys all worked hard to make me look
good.
I'd like to thank all our sponsors.
I'd like to thank my Wife, the Fairest Sandra the Red, for supporting me during the three long years
it took to design, organize and stage the SoCal/SoNev Section of the 09 Caravan. We are all lucky Sandy
loves our hobby.
Finally, I'd like to thank all our Caravaners. You guys and gals made the trip what it was...a
wonderful, memorable five days cruising with a bunch of friends.
