Southeast Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama

Hello everyone,

I'm Dorothy Crocker; I'll be leading the Caravan from SE Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama! This will be the 4th caravan that I've participated in; it will be the 3rd that I've led to Bowling Green. I'm hoping that we'll have a fun and exciting time!

As the saying goes, "All Roads Lead to Bowling Green!" Especially for September 3rd 5th, 2009, as that is the 15th Anniversary of the Grand Opening of OUR Corvette Museum!

We'll be leaving from Beaumont, Texas on Tuesday, September 1st traveling along Interstate 10 East making stops to pick up people and maybe have a little fun, at Baton Rouge we'll change over to Interstate 12 East until we reach Interstate 59 North outside of Pearl, Mississippi. From there we'll stop for the night in Hattiesburg Mississippi, where Ryan Chevrolet will host a cookout for us at the Microtel which is giving the caravan a discounted rate. The Microtel is located at Interstate 59 and Hardy St/Highway 98 West. The Microtel also has security and there are also 2 restaurants adjacent to the hotel, the Olive Garden and Logans Steakhouse. We are still trying to work on some other activities along the way here. After our overnight we'll continue along Interstate 59 North to Birmingham, Alabama, where the Hummer/Cadillac dealership will host possibly lunch for us. Then we'll take Interstate 65 North all the way into Bowling Green, Kentucky!

It will take a lot of planning and work to pull this off. If you would like to help, please feel free to contact me. I would love to have activities all along our route.
