Howdy to you all from here in hot and humid Houston!

My wife, Julie, and I will be heading up the Texas Caravan and we're looking forward to it.

This will be my third caravan. In 1999 and 2003 I helped Dorothy Crocker as Co-Captain for the Beaumont group. If this caravan is anything like the earlier ones, it will be one of your most memorable Corvette experiences.

We're still making our plans, but right now it appears that we will be heading from Houston up to Dallas on I45; meeting there with those coming up I35.

From Dallas, we're heading to Texarkana, through Little Rock and Memphis and then on to Bowling Green.

I am working on getting activities in Little Rock (an evening at a dragstrip there?) or Memphis (there is a road course just north of town) or perhaps a mass tour of Graceland. We have time to make some really neat activities a part of our tour and I will be working to keep our schedule so that if you want to go ahead and explore on your own, you can do that as well.

Believe me, without you this would not be possible. If you would like to help, please feel free to volunteer. I am going to need liaisons with local Corvette clubs, help with coordinating activities, soliciting assistance from dealerships along the way, etc. If you have any ideas, now is the time to get them out there.
